Carl G. Hawkins is the proud owner of the Law Office of Carl G. Hawkins, PLLC. Mr. Hawkins practices corporate law, with an established background in securities law and intellectual property law. He has worked extensively in worldwide protection of trademarks and copyrights where he has worked with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the European Intellectual Property Organization (EUIPO). He has served as corporate counsel for several publicly traded and privately organized companies, where he has compiled a repertoire of documents he has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).


Born in Athens, Greece, the son of a United States Air Force veteran, he is a graduate of the University of South Florida and Florida Coastal School of Law. Mr. Hawkins obtained his Business Certificate in 2016 and received the CALI "Excellence For The Future" Award in Intellectual Property. 


For several years prior to entering law school, Mr. Hawkins was an instrumental component for employers, working with clients such as Electronic Arts, Blizzard Entertainment, Konami, Bethesda, CBS, and Showtime.​


Mr. Hawkins is a corporate, securities and business transactions lawyer. His focuses are primarily small and mid-cap private and public companies trading on the OTC Markets, including capital markets transactions, going public transactions, OTC Markets alternative reporting, mergers and acquisitions, registered public and exempt private offerings and corporate finance transactions, Regulation A/A+, digital security offerings, Exchange Act and other regulatory reporting requirements, FINRA requirements, state and federal securities laws, general corporate law and complex business transactions. Mr. Hawkins has represented and worked alongside issuers, buyers, sellers, underwriters, placement agents, investors, and shareholders in mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance transactions. Mr. Hawkins also represents both target and acquiring companies in reverse and forward mergers, including the preparation of transaction documents such as merger agreements, share exchange agreements, stock purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements and reorganization agreements. The Jacksonville Legal Team® organizes the necessary documentation and assists in completing the requirements of federal and state securities laws and SROs such as FINRA and DTC for 15c2-11 applications, corporate name changes, reverse and forward splits and changes of domicile.
